Boats season 2011 closed

Our boat tours are no longer available this year. We are extremely grateful to every one of you who took tours or worked with us this season. We really enjoyed your company. We will reopen boat tours early next May and hope to see you again onboard.
Don’t forget that meanwhile our free walking tours keep running three times a week, throughout October. If you happen to be in St. Pete one of these already cold but still beautiful days, you are welcome to join us and explore this city together. We take off on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays at 10.30, the Athens Tavern.

Free Walking Tour to continue throughout October

We are glad to announce that our Free Walking Tour will keep on running throughout October! Please note that in October it will run only thrice a week, on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays, not daily. Meeting point is the same, 27 Nab. Reki Fontanki, under the sign of the Athens Tavern.
También seguiremos ofreciendo nuestro TOUR A PIE GRATIS durante el Octubre. El horario y la dirección siguen siendo sin cambios: por los lunes y jueves a las 11.30 les recogemos al lado del restaurante Atenas (”Таверна Афины” en ruso) que está en la calle Nab. reki Fontanki, 27. ¡Bienvenidos!
To sum up: Free Walking Tour in English will be available from Oct. 1st to Oct. 31st on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays at 10.30. Free Walking Tour in Spanish will continue running on Mondays and Thursdays at 11.30 until October 31st.

Más vale tarde que nunca… ¡Bien dicho! Y así mismo pensamos nosotros. Pues, aunque nos queda muy poco tiempo antes de terminar nuestra temporada turística, ya lo tenemos decidido : no vamos a perder ni un minuto más y aparte de nuestro Free daily walking tour in English. DESDE EL 11 DE AGOSTO LES OFRECEMOS UN TOUR COMPLETAMENTE NUEVO – NUESTRO TOUR GRATIS GUIADO EN ESPANOL.

Es un tour a pie gratis que estará disponible por los Lunes y Jueves desde el 11 de Agosto hasta el 30 de Septiembre y que va a cubrir todas las atracciones turísticas más importantes . Para ir de tour no hace falta reservarlo, sino acercarse unos 10-15 minutos antes.

Here’s just a quick one to remind that today, June 1st, two more boat tours start running: at 21.00 and 0.20. The tours will be available till the end of August.

Victory day boat tour

On May 9th we’re making a special boat tour to commemorate the end of WWII. You’ll be able to listen to the story of Leningrad in WWII, watch the V-Day fireworks from the river, listen to the songs of anti-fascist fighters.
The tour starts at 21.00, tickets are available at our ticket booth (nab. reki Fontanki 27). Prices are: 800 rub./ 700 rub. for students. Free drinks are included!

Season 2011 has started

We are happy to say we’ve started this year’s season with the boats as well as with our Free Daily Walking tour. Here’s what’s currently available:

Free Daily Walking Tour. Starts daily at 10.30, Cafe Athens.
Daily boat tours at 11.00, 13.00, 15.00, 17.00 and 19.00
Don’t forget we have other walking tours that run irregularly by prior arrangement.

New season is coming!

The new season is due in a bit more than a month. We are preparing great new features: our daily walking tour is going to be FREE and the new meeting place is now only a few steps away from our boats’ dock! Stay tuned, we will shortly update the information on this site. The walking tours will reopen on April 29th and the river and canal tours on May 2nd.

Irish

Russian blood, Siberian heart - Ira (guess why we call her Irish) came to St. Petersburg from her native Omsk to study English philology and is now doing her master’s. Besides being an excellent guide to show you around on a boat or by foot, she is a massive party-goer (Irish is the person to ask about St. Pete’s nightlife) an a keen modern-dancer. She, as well, is an invaluable source of information about the home-made pelmeni and the misterious land of Siberia where she actually lived!
